Roberta’s residence and the bulk of her ministry is in Tokyo. She is starting a program in hopes of placing volunteers of all ages year round in Japanese Baptist Union churches and institutions.June & July 2007

Sunday, July 1st, 2007Hello friends,
I would like to introduce to you a member of Roberta’s Missionary Partnership Team, Bob Fukano. Bob is a member of Roberta’s church here in the U.S., Japanese Baptist Church of Seattle. Bob has agreed to take on the responsibilities of being Roberta’s prayer advocate. He will be gathering folks who are interested in becoming prayer advocates along with him.
I wanted to let you know that Roberta arrived in Japan safely and so did her luggage! She is currently visiting with some friends in Yokohama.
I will be leaving to join her on June 26th. She will pick me up from the airport in Tokyo and we will drive up to her cabin on Takayama. We will open up her cabin, clean things up, do some long-overdue yard work, then we will move her belongings that are in Shichigahama down to her temporary place of residence in Tokyo. Prayers would be appreciated.
